Dada Head

In "Dada Head" the Shelter 209 artists were invited to prepare an exhibition for the Janco Dada Museum in Ein Hod, and they decided to create sculptural environments designed specifically for the museum space, an array of objects and video works that were imbued with additional significance when performances were carried out amongst them. This exhibition underlined the links between performance and exhibits, as the included objects had an independent presence but the performance could not have been carried out without them. A shaman-like ceremonial element was particularly evident, establishing connections between various events occurring in different spaces, different times, and within distinct worlds of imagery.
